Our Vision

Imagine producing healthy, nutritious, delicious food right in your own backyard with features including:

  • NO daily maintenance
  • NO pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides
  • Low water usage
  • High productivity in a small space
  • Aesthetically pleasing design you can show off
  • Create nutrient rich soil in any climate
  • Also capable of providing fish and chicken
  • Resilient to and helps fight climate change

A LEHR Garden works by combining technological solutions with organic gardening methods to create a closed loop, complete ecosystem that maximizes productivity while keeping human labor to a minimum. Hardware similar to aquaponics automates tasks like watering and fertilizing. Rich, organic soil keeps plants healthy. Healthy plants keep pests and diseases to a minimum.

Agriculture is not crop production as popular belief holds - it's the production of food and fiber from the world's land and waters. Without agriculture it is not possible to have a city, stock market, banks, university, church or army. Agriculture is the foundation of civilization and any stable economy.

— Allan Savory

Our Gardens

Combining the best of Regenerative Agriculture, Aquaponics and Mycovermicomposting and IoT.

An Integrated Approach.

Making gardening this simple, easy and forgiving requires years of research and experimentation and the best ideas across half a dozen fields including regenerative agriculture, systems thinking, aquaponics, enviromental engineering, mycovermicomposting, and information technology.

A Modern Approach

Optional technology packages to supplement the already resilient ecosystem we have engineered will eventually allow you to monitor the equipment within, the environment around and the progress of your garden from anywhere in the world.

Ready to Use

The raised, modular nature of tanks, compost, and planting beds makes installations of any size on any terrain in any space (including vertical) quick and easy.

Nature is a numbers game. We need all the support we can get as our immune systems and health are under assault from pollution, stress, contaminated food and age-related diseases as our lifespans increase.

From websites to shipping-container homes; I build things.

There are no separate systems. The world is a continuum. Where to draw a boundary around a system depends on the purpose of the discussion.

LEHR Gardens can be built in a nearly infinite number of ways; here you can take a look at some of them.
